Episode 92 - A Scanner Darkly
Welcome back film fans! This is episode 92 of Not A Bomb, the podcast where we reexamine movies that flopped at the box office or were panned by the critics. On this week’s show, Troy and Brad talk about 2006’s sci-fi film - A Scanner Darkly. Based on the 1972 novel of the same name by legendary science fiction novelist - Philip K. Dick, A Scanner Darkly is a lucid dream come to life. Using rotoscope to achieve its unique style, A Scanner Darkly failed to recoup its production budget but was received favorably by both the critics and the general audience.
