Episode 214 - Land of the Lost
Welcome back to Not A Bomb! This is the podcast where we dive into some of cinema's biggest box office failures and explore whether they deserve a second chance!
On the latest episode, we continue our exploration of summer blockbusters with a $100 million science fiction adventure comedy loosely based on the 1974 Sid and Marty Krofft television series - Land of the Lost. Yes, you read that correctly, $100 million! With such a hefty budget, we had to bring in Jose from Watch/Skip+ to join the discussion. Things take a hilarious turn as we inexplicably transform into Southern lawyers and grill our guest on his opinions over this cinematic bomb. Land of the Lost features a mix of dinosaur urine, poop, drug, and masturbation jokes - it certainly checks all the Movie Guide boxes! But does it really deserve to be labeled as a Bomb? Tune in to find out!
Land of the Lost is directed by Brad Silberling and star Will Ferrell, Danny McBride, Anna Friel, and Jorma Taccone.
Make sure to check out Jose on Watch/Skip+ and make sure to drop them a review!
Not A Bomb just launched new designs in our Merch store! Head over to the Not A Bomb Tee Public store and check them out. Special thanks to Ted Blair for the amazing designs!

Episode 213 - The Alamo
Welcome back to Not A Bomb! This is the podcast where we dive into some of cinema's biggest box office failures and explore whether they deserve a second chance.
As we roll into the summer months, Not A Bomb has decided to dedicate July to the Summer Blockbuster season. That particular time of year when film budgets seemingly have no limit. To kick off our Summer Blockbuster extravaganza, Troy and Brad tackle 2004’s historical drama - The Alamo. All this is well and good, but here is what you need to know: the summer blockbuster season is May-August. That was the assignment, and Brad picked a film released in April, so we are already off to a great start! Outside of someone’s inability to understand time, we hope you enjoy the episode.
The Alamo is directed by John Lee Hancock and stars Dennis Quaid, Billy Bob Thornton, Jason Patric, Patrick Wilson, Jordi Molla, and Emilio Echevarria
